15/11/97 Leigh shocked
Sheridan Leigh's booking that he recieved against BOURNE CIRCLE has been astonishingly up graded to SENDING OFF by a F.A Disciplinary committee and as a result has been suspended for 14 days and heavily fined. An unhappy LEIGH is currently seeking legal advice in his attempt to escape this harsh punishment.
15/11/97 Shewring receives punnishment
NATHAN SHEWRING has also been given a holiday by the F.A. for his part in the CHINGFORD BULL AND CROWN fiasco. The 35 day suspension for violent conduct begins on the 1st of December.
14/11/97 Downing handed fine
JAMES DOWNING has also been notified of his punishment after his outragous diving antics in the same game. The F.A. Committee decided a fine was sufficient in his case.
14/11/97 Move on the cards
It has been rumoured that the Rozzers could be moving away from cheshunt park after only 7 games. The manager and team are unhappy with the facilities and playing surface and a move to the old ground of the now defunct Middleton Ath. seems most likely. Mr Tona said "I do not feel the surface at Cheshunt Park suits our style of play,and a move could ony make things better. I've inspected the Middleton House surface and fell it would facilitate our style of play, weve only two games left to run on our contract at Cheshunt Park, so its now just a matter of clearing up formalities with the Middleton staff."
14/11/97 Stuckey on a mission
R.Stuckey has again been sent on a scouting mission by the Rosaneri management, this time to gain information for the vital cup match Vs StMargretsbury Res. Stuckey said "This match is vital for the Rozzers to keep their hopes of the double alive, and so im only too happy to help the boss."
